Q: What is Sienna Mercato?

A: Sienna Mercato is a 3-story Marketplace with each floor hosting its own unique experience. 

Emporio: A Meatball Joint, Mezzo, and Il Tetto: Rooftop Beer Garden. 

Floor 1 Emporio: A Meatball Joint A high-energy, bar oriented, casual Italian eatery is located on the first floor. The menu primarily focuses on gourmet meatballs presented in many forms with a variety of sauces.  Guests can custom order a number of sandwiches, sides, soups and salads with their choice of meatballs and sauce.  The bar features classic cocktails, an extensive draft beer selection, and a select wine list.

Floor 2 Mezzo, Italian for “middle”, is located on the second floor and guests seated in the front of the restaurant can dine in tables overlooking Penn Avenue through open-air garage-style windows.  The small wine bar is located nearby with unique craft cocktails and a vast wine list. The menu features artisanal pizzas, Italian cheeses, housemade charcuterie, creative pastas and traditional Italian entrées. 

Floor 3 Il Tetto - Italian for “the rooftop”, is the top floor of Sienna Mercato and is 21+.  The award winning beer and wine garden is open year round due to its retractable glass ceiling that provides beautiful views of Pittsburgh’s skyline.  Guests can enjoy libations and bar snacks at either the grand bar or tables under the skyscrapers of Pittsburgh

NOTE: Each floor operates independently using it's own exclusive menu and payment system. You may take leftovers from one floor to another floor but we ask that you don't consume them once you've moved from one floor to the next. Drinks can be taken from one floor to another as long as the drink is paid for at the bar it was made. 

Q: Where are you located?

A: We are located in the Cultural District of Downtown Pittsburgh, just steps away from the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.

Q: Can I make reservations?

A: Reservations are only available for floor 2 - Mezzo Pizza and Charcuterie. Reservations for parties of 12 or less can make their reservation on OpenTable at this link. Parties of 13 or more must contact Emily at emetzger@siennapgh.com to book a table or private event. Emporio: A Meatball Joint and Il Tetto Rooftop Beer Garden are first come first serve. Mezzo does accept walk-ins as business allows.

Q: Can I bring children?

A: We love the kiddos! Emporio is very family friendly with a kid's menu. Mezzo does not offer a kid's menu but does have wood-fired pizza available! Unfortunately, Il Tetto Rooftop is 21+ only.

Q: What are your operating hours?

A: Our current operating hours vary by floor - so the hours on Google for Sienna Mercato that are listed are the BUILDING hours (meaning from the time one floor opens to the time the last floor closes). Please check our website for each individual restaurant's operating hours.

NOTE: Private Events will affect the operating hours of each floor. We will post a notification banner to our website and on our Social Media when an event will close or alter a specific floor's hours.

Q: Can I book a private event?

A: Yes! Sienna Mercato is an incredible event space for all occasions. We have hosted birthday parties, showers, weddings, corporate events, happy hours and so much more. Please contact our Events and Sales manager Emily at emetzger@siennapgh.com for more information or visit the Private Events tab on our site.

Q: Where can I park?

A: There is street parking available on Penn Ave. and surrounding streets.

The two closest parking garages to us are:
1. the David L. Lawrence Convention Center Garage
2. The Garage at 1162 Penn Ave, Pittsburgh, PA
